"Exceptional"

Stunning location and beautiful house. Perfect for a large gathering. Particularly loved the kitchen with stools around the island, which was a great space for chatting and sharing food and enjoying each others company. The scenery is breathtaking, especially early in the morning with your first cup of coffee, listening to the birds singing and watching the mist rise over the river. The beds were comfortable, the showers always had hot water and the place was clean and comfortable. A gorgeous getaway from everything and the perfect place to relax and slow down.

"Great place with great history"

The place is very grand and luxurious. Situated on the river side in the middle of nothing but still only 10 mins to kinsale town the place is really good. The house has all the facilities you could think of and more. We went there with a group of friends and had a great stay. The house had very positive vibes and reading about the history of the house made it clear we were reading the vibes correctly.

The outdoor gazebos were not clean and unusable. Also constantly there was a big white dog on the grounds without any owner in sight which made us very uncomfortable and we had to go back inside the house on every occasion. This was very concerning and hope is fixed next time onwards. We like dogs but finding one without owner for first time is a bit concerning.
