Stone House with loft in Heraklion historical centre

It's a great little house, and you can really immerse yourself in Greek life. You'll feel like a local. The house is fantastic, and the owner is a very pleasant and helpful person, always willing to help and tell you anything you need. We arrived late at night, and he left us some treats and drinks, which was very nice and timely.

I didn't like the location. The fact that you live literally 10 minutes from the center is great, but you'll just be immersed in the crisis that's consuming Greece, and it's terrible. Otherwise, you'll like everything else.

Nicos the owner and host was really a delightful and thoughtful man to deal with - I really enjoyed my interactions with him. The property is a lovingly restored old stone house in one of the local neighborhoods in the old town. It has loads of charm and character, a beautiful interior plus a flowery balcony and a spacious terrace so is an ideal base for a stay in the old quarter. Food and local snacks were kindly left as a welcoming gesture and overall the cottage is well equipped with everything you need. I especially enjoyed the rather hidden and peaceful location and proximity to a very nice local Taverna.

The cottage is very well equipped in general but I missed an electric kettle (there is a little one for coffee) and a microwave for fast heating. The cooker hot plates take ages to heat up ....use the hob plate that goes up to a 6 for fastest results. But everything is fine overall.

I had a wonderful stay in Heraklion! The host was very engaged and always available to help whenever needed. He even prepared some snacks for my arrival, which was a really thoughtful touch. Throughout the stay he was kind, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. I truly appreciated the hospitality and would be happy to come back again.

Great space with all facilities and good communication with the owner. A few minutes walking from the center and parking available near the street (5min walking). Recommended!

Хозяин замечательный: когда мы приехали, для нас было приготовлено угощение и напитки, что очень пригодилось, так как мы прибыли поздно вечером, когда всё уже закрывалось. Также он дал подробные инструкции где что находится и как добраться, помог с вызовом такси.

Korter asus väga vaikses piirkonnas. Kesklinna oli 10 minutit jalutada. Korter oli väga puhas ja hubane, kõik vajalik oli olemas, Omanik oli väga sõbralik ja abivalmis, andis meile häid soovitusi linnaga tutvumiseks. Kui saabusime, ootasid meid laual värsked saiakesed ja puuviljad, külmkapis olid valge vein, vesi ja karastusjoogid. Ka hommikusöögiks oli meile toit jäetud. Tundsime, et oleme oodatud. Jäime majutusega väga rahule.
