Spacious living room

Washbasin that hadn't been cleaned, covered in hair and didn't drain. Floors and surfaces not particularly clean. One less bathroom than advertised. No shower gel, washing up liquid, toilet roll, dishcloths, tea towels. Broken room handle lock that locked us out for the whole of our second day there. Being asked to look for a locksmith myself!

Very clean and spacious property! Also very helpful host! Worth booking again!

Unfortunately there was only 1 toilet roll available for the 4 of us. There was also no hand-wash. Please kindly ensure this is stocked in future for guests to use.

Location and space

Lack of communication when I talked about the cleaning, hair in showers, stained bed sheets, leftover food in the kitchen. Arse hair all over the toilet.

The location was good, access to wider sheffield was quite easy by walking or taking a cab/uber. There is public transport close by also if preffered.

Firstly the information on how to access the apartment didn't come through, I had to chase this with the property manager. It advertises as having a carpark you can pay for however what is not explained is that it is full majority of the time as there are alot of offices around the area. The apartment wasn’t particularly clean. There were plug-in air fresheners throughout, which gave off a very strong artificial scent that was quite overpowering. The ensuite shower also had an issue with the drain — the plug had been removed and was just left to the side. While there were washing facilities, the washing machine and dryer were extremely dirty. We also experienced an issue accessing the building late at night after a wedding. Entry is via an electronic fob, but the entire building’s fob system had gone down. There was no alternative key entry or information provided for situations like this. When we called the property manager, he mentioned there wasn’t much he could do as he lived in the South of England and the owner overseas. Fortunately, my husband found a nearby shop connected to the building, and the shop owner was packing up and heard our please kindly let us in through a back access point. Upon hearing our plight he even offered for us to crash in his shop if we couldn't get access. Big shout out to the Dice Box Sheffield!! Legends. I thought the property manager may have touched base the next day, just to ensure everything was okay - but heard nothing.

Lovely, spacious apartment with comfy beds. It was well located for the wedding we attended. We didn't spend that much time in the apartment really, but it was very nice to come back to rather than a hotel. It was nice and warm without needing to use the radiators despite the somewhat chilly September weather. Pretty clean with a fairly well equipped kitchen. The showers are large and powerful. And the towels provided are huge! I love a large towel. There is a brilliant Chinese restaurant not far from the building (Hot Chilli Chinese).

Nothing that made any real difference to our stay. The dining table was a little small (4 seats), especially given the apartment can sleep 6 adults and some of the bedding was a little tatty. We are all quite short and the bathroom sinks were quite high up. The internet name is not what was provided and the password doesn't have any spaces in, despite the info given. The flat could use some general freshening of the decorating- including bathroom tiling/grouting and the tape used to attach the flush in the main bathroom.

Liked everything about accommodation, 5 minutes to town, Busy road outside but did not hear much very good place 👍🏻
