Independence Apartment with Balcony

Great little apartment. Collection of keys and entry was perfect. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable in the heart of Como and exactly as described and photographed. Rent All Como checked to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything and responses were immediate. A myriad of restaurants close by to choose from and only a short walk from the lake.

The bed was a little hard for my liking and the pillow too soft, but that is just a personal preference. Nothing to complain about with the apartment

Hosts arranged for our car to be in the city and provided explicit instructions on how to retrieve the key.

Location, cleanliness and well kept

No microwave and no electric socket by mirror for hairdryer or all kitchen appliances.

Location is super central. Apartment is clean and well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home. Beds are comfortable. Key collection was easy at a key box

After booking you are asked to sign a contract 8 page long which includes a huge list of items with cost if you make any damages. Having stayed other places at Como it’s the first time I see this and it’s not a relaxing booking experience to get a place to stay for 3 nights. It also made us concerned host would try to make unjustified claims - in fairness they didn’t and I suppose they just set themselves up for making it easier if they find a need to make claim. Apartment is right in middle of the centre and a lively area with bars so some noise from street during evening and night. No place to dispose trash so have to leave in apartment and host will help dispose after check out, but would have been nice to be able to clear every 2 days.

Had all the the conveniences of being at home.
