Location is a beautiful neighbourhood. 5 mins walk to a tram station and 10 mins to a metro station.

Bugs, beds, smells, bathrooms and cleanliness. When we stepped inside the bedroom, we saw 3 huge bags crawling the wall and ceiling and multiple flies flying. Of course we had to kill them ourselves. And the bed was not really a bed. It is a mere mattress on skids. Humidity, most likely humidity. The whole room smelled moldy and didn't want to stay at all. Bathroom was exceptionally bad. First, shower curtain was super short and the whole floor got wet because of that. Toilet papers, washing machines, everything was messy and dirty. Sure, the price is relatively lower than other apartments or hotels, but I have had better places with the same price range in Budapest before. I was afraid what if its full of bugs in the bed. Couldn't sleep well so we left a day earlier.

The basement means that you always have room temperature and normal moisture when it is summer and some +35 outside. Most of the day the sun is somewhere on another side and afternoon it is shaded by fig trees in the cosy garden, so you do not get too much irritation from them (but use curtains anyway, as next door neighbors are alwaus curios to peek when they come by). At first I was scared by a no air conditioner prospect, but then quickly understood it is just not needed here. The design is made "from everything one could bring instead of investing", but it is rather comfortable and efficient. You have a well-stuffed kitchen, washmachine and ironing board with an iron. And a garden to dry all that (but beware of ripe fig juice soaking down on your laundry). WiFi is very good. It may seem far from the city centre, but you always have 49 tram to bring you there quickly + 15 mins walk to metro (and there is also a good modern supermarket and shopping mall there).

The curtain in the bath is too short, which requires guests to wash themselves in a smart way against the wall, otherwise the whole floor would be totally wet. Sometimes one might meet a house centipede (Scutigera coleoptrata) roaming a wall, which is normal for a basement, but may be annoying for those who are scared of such insects with many legs.

Perfect location, really nice green neighborhood. the apartment is under ground floor which makes it nice and cool in the summer. :)) The apartment has a good size for a single person or couple. It is surprisingly light, which was nice. I would definitely go again for a short stay.

The apartment could have been more clean. The kitchen cabinets and handles were sticky, and there is a bit of mold in the bathroom. All in all it's not bad for a one night stay if you don't need to cook there, but I would not use the kitchen equipment because they did not seem clean enough.

Humidity was awful in the room

very cute room, has everything you need for two people. The location was good, just a short walk to public transport. The room is unique and nicely decorated.

The room has some smell at first, but after a few minutes it wasn't noticable. The air conditioning didn't work or we just didn't know how to use it.
