Very friendly helpful staff. Convenient roadside hotel with parkjng at rear. Excellent restaurant with additional tea/coffee facilities in the room. Whilst not particularly large our 'superior' room was very clean with a good size ensuite.

The shower is above the bath which can make it difficult to step in/out.

Although I arrived late, I had a lovely welcome, and was offered a meal (even though the kitchen should have closed). This was so thoughtful and the meal was excellent - home cooked and delicious. In the countryside, so you hear the owls at night, though there is also some road noise. Really great value for money.

The breakfast was OK, only not very imaginative (unlike the dinner) and there was a lack of cutlery in the breakfast room (probably a one off). Coffee quality could have been better.

Arrived early but greeted by owner who let me into my room early. Quiet location and nice clean room. Evening meal was homemade traditional French cooking. Very good.

We really liked the situation of the hotel. It was warm, quiet and clean. The restaurant was the real attraction for us. We ate there both nights. The food was excellent.
