Peaceful Country Living at Apartments at Villa Clara

Authentic place in the mountains. Amazing view from the balcony. Extremely nice and friendly host. A cool medical village within a few minutes of walking, with amazing architecture.

It was indeed an interesting experience. It was a horror adventure. I would not recommend booking on hot days of summer, it is impossible to exist. You cannot concentrate, watch movies, read a book, sit, or cook, we just wanted for days to pass as fast as possible, we were praying to finally move on. It is so hot during the day and at night that you will just lay on the bed only in your underwear like a soldier and watch the ceiling so that one body part won't touch another and wait for hours to pass by. Even a cold shower does stop the sweat from dripping into your butcrack. Some kitchen utensils are lacking. The house itself looks aesthetically pleasing and modern but the inside of our apartment was like the late 60s. You are given a choice between having some sort of air and leaving the roller shutters open however being eaten alive by mosquitos or having them closed and having even more sweat drop into your butcrack. Night. Very interesting. Sometime after midnight, something woke up in the attic, despite the host/owner checking the attic after our checkout and informing us that there was nothing, we are not convinced. It came after midnight and fell asleep around sunrise, it happened for the 2 nights we were staying. We slept on average of 2 hours per night. Not only it is very hard to fall asleep with the heat, but the noises that were made were truly horrifying. It is like having a sleeping paralysis but you are awake. Imagine staring at the ceiling because it is hot and holding your partner's finger ( can't hold a hand cause it is too hot for that) and tears rolling down your cheek because of the sounds. Sound description - long nails scratching along the old wood floor, heavy pacing around, something heavy being dropped and shuttered among the floor, jumping, constant heavy and loud sounds for the whole 5 hours of the night/morning.
