StayVista at Suroor with Central Heating in Tangmarg

I am giving 2 stars just for the interior of the villa rest the location of this villa is extremely disappointing. It’s right in the tanmarg village. In pictures it looks like it is surrounded by trees but it’s right between a village. I asked stay vista executive Rashmi garud (who was too careless to call me and not answer several minutes on call) for pictures of the surrounding she said it is as showed in the pictures. I feel like I’ve been cheated here. It was my first time in Kashmir. The house help was very kind when we entered. We got good tea and coffee for the first time after that the quality when on declining . As we are jain not many food options were available so we asked for fruit. They cancelled one breakfast item in exchange of papayas. They served as horrible paratha and papaya for breakfast. I asked for bread jam. Jam had fungus like texture on it. The kitchen was extremely unclean. Open jars of sugar unclean appliances etc. there was no electricity half of the time therefore there was no heating in the villa. Morning 4-6am the prayers were happening on loud speaker that’s why we couldn’t sleep. I had to shower in cold water since there was no sufficient hot water. They charged us 250 additional for a bottle of water and coffee which wasn’t mentioned before. Whoever is considering to book this villa please don’t. Book any normal hotel in Gulmarg instead.After paying 50000 for a night the service and experience was pathetic. the google location is of Gulmarg and the location provided by house help wasn’t correct either. we roamed 18kms to reach the location

Everything was perfect the location, the staff, the house, the food.

The Google maps address is wrong and getting to the property was a bit difficult

Awesome house, clean, and memorable stay. The host was lovely. Food was delicious.
