Charming Detached Cottage Near John Radcliffe Hospital Free Parking Self check-in

The location in relation to the hospital was excellent, the communication with the host was brilliant and the host herself extremely accommodating , everything we needed in the property was at our fingertips. Couldn’t ask for anything more 🤩

This gem of a property was a last minute quick find to stay close by for a family member having an op at John Radcliffe. It was perfectly located with the added bonus of parking. The hosts were extremely helpful and carried bags from the car to the accommodation. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would highly recommend. Amazing!

Picked this place due to the proximity to the hospital and the local shops. The apt had everything we needed and was very clean. Also, it was very useful to have the free parking on the driveway. The owners were very friendly.

The large, partitioned garden room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and quiet, with an excellent shower and a comfortable bed. Parking on the drive worked well and there were frequent buses connecting to the town centre.

It was a little gloomy, as there is only a small window. A few days before I was due to book in, the hosts messaged to say they were going on holiday the day after I arrived and so I did not see them. This was unfortunate for me as, being an older female travelling without my husband, I had chosen the booking exactly because the hosts would be just across the garden. I think they should have let me know at booking that they would not be there and given me the option to cancel the booking, which I would have done. I did have their telephone number, they did check I was ok by text, and they had people on the ground who would help if necessary. However, it is a secluded garden with a road running along the back of the garden and the front door lock was just an internal room lock. I am sure a couple would have been perfectly happy there but I am afraid I returned home with some relief.
