Beachside Apt with Amazing Views and No Loadshedding

The interior of the apartment is absolutely beautiful — exactly as shown in the photos. Stylish, clean, and very comfortable. They were also very kind and accepted to have my luggage with the housekeeper for an early check in as I went off into town until the official chec-in at 3pm.

However, the exterior and stay were disappointing. The apartment is on the ground floor, and the listing is highly deceptive about the “amazing views featuring an expansive balcony overlooking the Sea Point Promenade”. There are no sea views as you face the roadside and the building opposite. This felt misleading and far from what the advertisement suggested and the pricing. The building itself is old, and the area outside is sometimes noisy. Check-out was wasn't pleasant. As opposed to requiring the guest to make calls to check out early, the instructions on where to leave the keys should be clearly and simply explained in writing. My Uber cancelled because I I took long figuring out where the keys were supposed to go. I looked for the guard who checked me in but couldn’t find him, and I eventually had to call the agent just to get instructions. After returning the keys, one of my bags ended up locked inside the gate and had to call agent again to help with access via intercom. For the price charged, having no clear check-out guidance is frustrating. Lastly, the listing claims there is “no load-shedding,” yet inside the apartment there were instructions on what to do during load-shedding. This was confusing and added to the overall sense of misleading information.

The apartment interior was newly renovated and very clean. It was very convenient to have a washing machine and tumble drier. Decor/ furnishings were moderate.

Advertising was deceptive - the view can definitely not be called amazing. Being on the ground floor, the apartment looked straight onto the road and buildings opposite. There was a slight view of Three Anchor Bay. The location was extremely noisy from traffic noise and people. There was no parking and we had to park on the pavement or in the library premises across the road.

Lovely clean apartment with a wonderful location.

There was no off street parking.

A very cozy place, with everything you need for vacation. Great location as well!
