Cosy small cottage in Wirral Merseyside with kitchen

WOW. The cottage was beautifully decorated and furnished. It was comfortable and I needed for nothing. The hosts were very polite and welcoming. Couldn't have asked for anything better. I would definitely go back if I am needing to go to that part of the country again.

Our recent overnight stay at the cottage was an entirely positive experience! The host gave clear instructions for our arrival and communicated very well. The accommodation is beautifully furnished and was equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need for our stay, including toiletries. Breakfast was excellent; the fresh hens' eggs were the finishing touch to an excellent array of goods. Many thanks for your hospitality, I am sure we will be back in the future.

There was nothing to dislike!

The lovely owners are definitely the best feature of this cosy cottage! Very friendly + accommodating, with excellent communications :-) The cottage itself is very clean, tidy + up-to-date (includes pod style coffee maker, clothes steamer, powerful hand-held cordless vacuum, and hairdryer), and we kept the heating turned off for our entire trip, as it was indeed comfortably cosy! Generous provision of cushions + pillows, with comfy duvets. Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, towels, washing up liquid, dish sponge (+ cloth) all provided, so no need to take your own or buy some especially. TV even has Netflix provided specifically for the cottage, so you have a greater choice than the usual hotel norms. Generous provision of breakfast basics included (we were cheeky and enjoyed the yummy eggs for tea on our 1st night, but they were generously replaced ready for breakfast the next day!) as mentioned in the description, but there are several shops close enough to walk to within reasonable time (it only took us 1/2hr to leisurely walk to the retail park, even though I currently have an untreated fractured kneecap!) so you can stock up the fridge (with small freezer compartment) and cook your own meals in the very easy to use gas oven or microwave. Set back from any roads, it was also lovely + quiet. Even better, no noisy hotel guests wandering past, slamming doors in the middle of the night! Bit of a shame that we were only using it as a base to eat + sleep around our 2 day visit to the comicon in Liverpool town centre, as we didn't get time to sit out in the garden + enjoy the weather. That would've been very calming, with the gentle clucking of the chickens (not heard from inside the cottage!) in the background :-) Definitely recommended + will be my 1st choice if I need to visit the area overnight again in the future!
