The Entire Barnhouse at Camp Jakkalsfontein, Tulbagh

Large open lounge. Pool and foosball tables. Indoor braai.

Loft room sofa bed was uncomfortable and birds could be heard on the tin roof. Also needs curtains but otherwise a lovely little space

Awesome location, secluded, yet had EVERYTHING we needed! Jeff went beyond the call of duty for us! The Barnhouse catered to every need, adult and kid! We even went to do this little hike to look at the waterfalls. Dipped into the pool, during winter! This CAMPSITE was nothing short of amazing... We recommend Campsite Jakkalsfontein and Jeff anytime!

Everything was perfect, enough room and space for everything and everyone, very nice and peaceful

The space was nice, the pool was big enough to accommodate all of us, staff were very helpful.

The shower floors are too slippery, the mattresses of the bunk beds are old and too thin, the store room is in the facility that we stayed in so privacy is limited, no access to an actual TV so you not able to watch anything during the day time. A pool table could maybe help for some entertainment, no indoor play area for children as advertised only the big space that is there, the advertisement didn't indicate that we would be sharing the pool with other campers, we weren't even aware other people would be on the property. Lastly an air cone would be a great help for during the day and night, cause that fan does not help with the heat and at night it becomes very cold there.

Facilities good. Staff grate! Jeff was especially amazing.

Some minor issues with bathrooms. Needs another fan/ aircon. Opportunity to add a pool table or foosball table.

The privacy, Jeff's hospitality and the feeling of nature where the location is. The place was quite big, big enough for a group of friends or family and for our little ones. They enjoyed the small swimming pool while the adults enjoyed theirs.

maybe if the extra double bunk beds can only be put in the lounge only when requested.
