Apartment with a view of the beach and the sea. Very comfortable beds. Beautiful surroundings.

Very quiet and peaceful and lots of nature. Beach is pristine and only a few stroll along the sandy shore.

Unpaved road can be challenging. Fortunately owner advised to shop for groceries in Merida since there is a limited selection in Celestun town. We bought most of our groceries in Merida and took them with us.

No Hot Water No AC that works No Gas for oven as ran out & no where nearby to obtain food, so waited for person to fix the issue some time later. The above may be a one off, but the the sofa bed is not fit for 2 people to sleep on, in fact it’s overstuffed so lumpy and one half much higher than the other. And more to the point - Rene - the owner is incredibly rude, sending us upsetting and aggressive WhatsApp messages, trying to bribe us to leave a good review after sending bundles of nasty texts. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional and I would not wish anyone to have to deal with this person. We have stayed in 10+ different accommodations throughout Mexico & left reviews to help other travellers, most are glowing as our experience has been very positive in general. To access this accommodation you need to drive 20 mins down a very bumpy dirt track road, so please be prepared.

Fantastic location, on the beach and a great pool! The villa is very comfortable and functional. We had everything we needed to have a lovely stay, and Rene and Olivia went out of their way to accommodate some extra requests - we really appreciated it!!! They had great recommendations for tours too! We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time, swimming at dawn, dusk and in between. Bedding was also comfortable and water pressure in shower good! Very private feeling! In nature! The grounds were well maintained (trimmed shrubbery etc.) Calm and quiet. We arrived with a strong north wind so the mosquitoes were not an issue and the water was seaweed-free. Recommend!

Some details need some maintenance, but they are easily overlooked given the beauty of the nature and unique beach and pool access. There is an abandoned restaurant on site in disrepair.

After the third day the ‘rough’ access road was no longer fun

A wonderful property with a gorgeous pool and private beach access right out the back door of the house. It was immaculate inside and out and wonderfully quiet; there was zero hubbub typical of a resort. Everyone working and staying there was friendly and helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped. Any question or concern and host Rene was on it immediately. The sunset mere steps from the door is spectacular!

The access road is rough hard packed dirt and has many big potholes. Rene had prepared me for it and I wasn't worried about driving on it (having been on similar roads), but that is the only thing I could name that could have been easier, and it really wasn't that difficult at modest speed.
