Rented this property for a “fake Christmas” with family - booked for the space and number of bedrooms

There were a lot of issues! Firstly I checked in to find the heating off and the instructions were incorrect. The infuriating part was that this was 100% a known issue. The hive base station was fixed to the wall and the box front with key lock on a table. The hive was non functional. Called the number and someone came at around 6pm. I expect a property to be ready at check in time The call handlers misled me about this and I had to call back - was on hold for 30 mins. The chap that arrived override the system and the heat was on constant then the entire time. it left a very bitter taste to start the weekend. My niece had to return to her home as I called having inspected the kitchen cupboards- there were absolutely NO pans of any size to suit the size of the house and guests. The largest saucepan wasn’t even as deep as a drinking glass! The other pans were scratched Teflon and disgusting. Keeping in mind this is a 5 double bedroom house and we were to attempt making meals!!! There were exactly 7 forks - all mismatched, 6 bowls (there were 7 of us) - loads of cupboards but no real kit in them. My niece had set off when I rang her and had to drive back home to bring all the pots and pans we needed!!! Disgraceful. Also, each double and super king bed only had ONE skimpy towel left on it- this was rectified in the evening when a chap dropped them off. The house was very clean but run down in places with huge damp spots on the dining room wall and pealing tiles etc. The stair carpet needs a darn good clean. What made this even harder to take was the fact that they were charging £15 per hour for a late check out and before I arrived and saw all of this I’d been offered an extra night for £45 which I booked as it was cheaper way of getting a late check out. Overall the property owner has passed this to a property management company - they both do a dreadful job! None of these issues should’ve occured with the correct stock checks and decent people running it.

Good size, very cosy, clean. Property good size bedrooms were comfortable

Clean, spacious, good showers, Close to our wedding venue.

No off street parking as described in the advert. Had to park on a very narrow street. Fortunately no damage done. Had booked for 8 people but cutlery only for 6 . No breakfast provided
