The host is friendly and location is good very near the bus station

Not clean and near the street very noise

The manager was very helpful with suggestion of what to do and how to travel, and arranged a Tuk Tuk for local travel.

Too many stairs to climb

Great new place! They just re open it! Superrrr clean, great gardes with a lot of shade, big and tasty breakfast, the ownera a super nice couple to chat with, I love the location, 1 block from the beach and 1 block from the bua station.

Our Host was very helpful and friendly, he let us use the kitchen which was great as I drink a lot of tea. Location was superb, very close to the centre of town, shops, restaurants, buses etc. but very quiet, especially at night. Room was spacious with hot water, mosquito net and outdoor undercover sitting area. If you want anything just ask and the owner/host will help. He speaks great English and is knowledgeable about the area and Sri Lanka

Price was cheap. Hot water was good. Space is big. Location is good.

The staff thin and with cap try to flirt my sister and ask my sister to bring his room more than 10 times. He even keep coming to out room late night 3 times.. that was creepy. And he keeps lying us about room price and vacancies. He even lost one of our pants and one socks. Fortunately the owner apologized us and payed us some of money for the pants. The staff really socks.

My friend and I stayed at Soorya Inn for 4 nights. The room was very clean, comfortable and a good size, as well as the bathroom. It was light and airy, with new bedding and towels. We were offered fresh towels multiple times during our stay. The location is perfect for Ella as it’s a 2 minute walk into the town and almost right across the road from the bus stop. Many of the things we wanted to do were in walking distance: nine arch bridge, little Adam’s peak and the bus was only 15 minutes to ravana falls. Dasith was the owner and he was absolutely wonderful and kind. He helped tell us how to get places, including our bus trip from Ella to Udawalawe. Dasith made us beautiful homemade juice, many cups of tea and a beautiful dinner of rotti, Dahl and coconut sambal on our last night in Ella. We loved staying at the Soorya Inn and couldn’t recommend it enough.

The hotel is just perfectly situated, it is across the road from the bus stand, so it is really easy to find. The village center with restautrants, supermarkets etc is just few hundred meters from it. At the same time the neigbourhood is cozy and quiet. Very helpful stuff. You can always find their support with information or whatever. The owner of the hotel, Dasith is a very nice man.

It would be nice to have more than one elecric socket in the room ))) But this is not critical.
