Studio Mare Fuori with terrace

Die Lage war perfekt. Die Dachterrasse haben wir jeden Abend für ein Abschlussgetränk genutzt. Die Schlüsselübergabe verlief nett und ohne Probleme. Sehr viel Deko im Zimmer, welche mediterranes Flair vermittelt hat. Die Unterkunft punktet mit der Dachterrasse und der Sauberkeit.

Der Kühlschrank war etwas laut. Die Klimaanlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad war sehr klein und in die Jahre gekommen. Man hat versucht es zu verschönern. Das Bett war nicht ganz so bequem. Aber es war alles sehr sauber und das ist uns am wichtigsten.

Central location on a quiet square - nice view from rooftop

The bathroom and toilet needs a better clean. I appreciate it is older property but a clean toilet is essential. I won’t add a photo as it’s not nice. The rooftop terrace is through a very short door (maybe a metre high) at the top of a spiral staircase with restricted headroom.

This cute studio apartment was wonderful for our stay in Rovinj. It is so centrally located that it is easy to get everywhere - the old town, the taxi/bus stand, the beach, restaurants, shopping - you name it, it's walking distance. Despite that, the street was very quiet at night! That was a huge bonus. The studio uses its small space very efficiently. Just about everything you would need is included. The bathroom was nice with lots of counterspace, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We also loved the rooftop terrace - it has a beautiful view of the church and the sea. In the mornings, it was the perfect place to sit and sip a cup of coffee (until the sun came out and it was too hot to sit there!). At night, it was a beautiful viewpoint for the stars. You could even hear music coming from the town square. Overall - a small space, but a beautiful one!

Fair warning - the studio is on the highest floor of this three-story building, and it has a narrow spiral staircase. We managed to get our suitcases up, but anyone with mobility issues would find it hard to access this property. There is a drying rack provided for clothes, but no washing machine, so if you have towels/swimsuits from the beach they would have to be washed by hand (maybe providing a washbowl would be nice). The floor also got dirty easily from the wet things dripping, so providing a Swiffer or mop in addition to the broom/dustpan would be helpful. Also, the wifi was really slow and we ended up using data to access the internet instead - not a big deal, but it would be an easy fix!

The location of the apartment is perfect and it's a very comfortable stay for 1 or 2 people. The terrace above is amazing to enjoy a short drink in the evenings. The apartment is very clean, has all the basic needs for a short stay up to a week, as well as complimentary espresso. On top of these Alessia was very professional and communication during check-in and check-out was great, she provided good recommendations about Rovinj and was very helpful with my additional check-out requests without hesitation.

Parking is a general problem in Rovinj, if you want to stay in the center. Keep in mind that you may have to carry your luggage in cobblestones wherever you stay in the old town. Having said that the hosts provided solutions that helped with this general problem and minimized the inconvenience.

The flat itself has everything you needed, but the roof terrace was a major bonus. Lovely view over the old town where we spent having our breakfast most mornings.
