Las habitaciones son super pequeñas y son paredes de madera, por lo cuál escuchas todo; el baño con el desagüe taponado, puerta corrediza, así que es incómodo un cuarto pequeño con un baño con poca privacidad, almohadas sin relleno. Tampoco sirvió la tele. En realidad es una casa de familia y te ponen hora de llegada..., además encuentras orines de los perros en las áreas comunes y no hay variedad en el desayuno. Me sentí incómoda desde el comienzo, sin claridad de la reserva, tenían el datáfono descargado para hacer el pago y a la señora se le notaba la desconfianza, como si no fueramos a pagar sin que fuera nuestra responsabilidad que el aparato estuviese descargado.

Todo y la amabilidad de su personal; hacen la estadía más amena. Pura vida!

Inaccurate description. No any word about restroom (detached, about 15 m down the hall). A room on the 2nd floor with the attached restroom could be accessed through a very steep ladder and it looks like a bird cage made of a wood-based chipboard. No place for two small carry ons, not to mention two people. There are some other discrepancies with the description. Bottomline: this is not a hotel, this is a hostel. It might be OK for youngsters but it is definitely not suitable for people over 70. Also, guests are seemingly offered partial refund for cancellation. In fact, no cancelation was possible. We (2 people) were charged for a 2-day stay 1,098 quetzals corresponding to $130.72. Do not assume that the advertised price (currently $49/day for a double room) is real. See some photos describing the reality better than it was advertised.

Very good location The staff doesn't speak English, which makes communication difficult. The facility is locked at all times, but there's a small window in the gate that you can insert your hand through and open from the inside. Everyone knows this... :( All rooms have windows onto the patio, which is quite noisy because the bathrooms have entrances from the patio. Booking.com described them as "rooms with private bathrooms," but they didn't mention that only one apartment room had an ensuite bathroom. After a long argument, we got that room. The lady stated that she "upgraded the room for free." However, it wasn't an "upgrade," just a fulfillment of the agreement!!! The second room was on the first floor. Access was via narrow, dangerous stairs. There were two rooms on the first floor. It's a makeshift extension made of fiberboard and boards. The bathroom door is half a meter from one of the beds. It's a sliding oilcloth door. There's no room for a real door! My bed (two mattresses stacked on a frame) collapsed when I sat on it. The lady decided that a leg had broken and that the other three needed to be removed. After half an hour, it turned out that the other legs couldn't be removed. The broken one was reinstalled... a makeshift solution. The room was so cramped that my suitcase was on my bed (I had a double bed), and my friend's suitcase was on the nightstand (fortunately, it was small...). The breakfast was decent, and the staff member was friendly. However, the owner was very unpleasant. Guests were clearly bothering her. On the day of departure, we were leaving the hotel at 7:45, and I asked if we could have breakfast earlier (it was served from 8:00). This proved impossible; the lady insisted it was out of the question! I asked for a packed lunch for the four of us. That also proved impossible. Another exchange ensued... I warned her that I would describe everything we found in my Booking.com review. An hour later, the lady came back and said there would be breakfast, but we had to give her a good review... However, I'd rather warn you about the surprises that might await guests at this hotel :(
