The Big Sanchez

Everything from the host to the house itself. There were 9 of us and everyone was pleased with the accommodations. Great spacious house, with a large backyard, and great front porch. Centrally located. Less than a mile from most of the fun activities. I would definitely stay there again!!!

This house was large and clean. It was really neat, you could tell it was old but it was charming and well taken care of. The front porch was adorable with rocking chairs. The beds were amazing, so comfortable in every room!! I slept so well. Plenty of towels!! and the location was perfect. Close to the beach and downtown in a quiet neighborhood.

My one and only complaint and I feel bad for saying it because we did love the house so much. But the coffee machine was full of coffee grounds so I didn't want to use it. I brought coffee with me because I didn't want to go to a shop to get some.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Big Chanez — it exceeded all our expectations! The home was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was beyond kind and incredibly accommodating, which made the experience even better. The location was perfect — just a short drive to free public beach access, and the street was quiet with very little traffic. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family, of five teenagers and two adults, and can’t wait to come back! We also highly recommend trying Caps on the Water while in the area. It was a little pricey, but the food and view were absolutely phenomenal!!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything met or exceeded our expectations!

Clean, comfortable home close to downtown.

Had to reach out a few times regarding bikes, beach chairs, however owners were very prompt to alleviate issues.

I loved at the house was over a hundred years old fit with the vibe of that town! The backyard was awesome too

It was so nice to stay in such a beautifully done historic home with full kitchen in the perfect location for us. The trolley depot was a couple blocks away. Even closer is Subway and really good Mexican food at El Supremo, which is also a little grocery store. Every bed was so comfy. Top of the line on everything you need! Everything was amazing!

Would've preferred cable tv rather than Roku. Not that we watched a lot of t but we do like watching live news at the beginning and end of each day.

The house is in a great location, very close to downtown St. Augustine and within a short, driveable distance to the beach. There are plenty of things to do within walking distance. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable. The patio is spacious and particularly enjoyable in the evening.
