Sanctuary Ho Tram Beach Resort

We truly enjoyed our stay, especially the pool bar with its calm and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The perfect place to unwind. The animal farm was also beautifully maintained and showed how much care and attention goes into the entire property. What made the experience truly special was the staff: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always making us feel genuinely welcome. A place with a very warm and pleasant spirit throughout.

The resort is beautiful, well arranged, with a nice footprint, beautiful lakes and gardens and all the facilities you need in a resort like this. The villas are very spacious and comfortable, and give a luxury feel that other resorts in the area do not have. As a Level villa stay, you have benefits like the lounge and the level pool with free drinks, food and great cocktails. The swimming pool is large and very warm. The ocean front villas have an amazing feel with direct access to the beach, and great terrace amenities.

Very big premium to be paid for a villa facing the beach/ocean Vs lake front but the feel makes it worth it

The resort is located on a beautiful, well-maintained property with a nice, clean beach. The spa is outstanding. The staff were very nice. The breakfast buffet was good.

The food in the restaurants was very average for a 5 star resort. We have stayed at several other 5 star resorts and hotels were quite disappointed by the food. It was also overpriced, considering how average it was. Also worth mentioning: the Spanish restaurant did not have a fresh pepper meal. If you are serving pasta and steak, a diner would expect to be able to have fresh pepper on their meal as opposed to from the shaker. Concerning the room (we stayed in the hotel), the bed was overly soft and not comfortable. The hair dryer was also poor quality and was very harsh on hair. Having stayed at other hotels recently that have upgraded to ionic hair dryers, I would have hoped that Melia would have done the same.

Great breakfast. Beautiful grounds/pools. LOVED our 2 bed pool villa. Special mention for Jason, our server at dinner the first night. His service was excellent and he brought such a great energy to our evening. Much appreciated!

Quite a distance to travel from HCMC with a limited shuttle timetable. Need to factor the travel time (& potential cost) into your itinerary Have stayed a few times at another Melia Resort and although the Ho Tram restaurants are lovely, a bit more variety would have been great. Also, Ho Tram offers limited room-service hours only for all-inclusive (which differs from other Melia resorts)
