Môr Heli Guest House Criccieth

Wonderful welcome from the hosts. The property is beautifully decorated throughout and the bedroom has breathtaking views over the bay.

Absolutely nothing!

The location was perfect, it is across a road to the beach The room was outstanding. Very spacious, comfortable, clean with everything you could need and more eg hair dryer, fresh milk etc

The rooms were all upstairs and there was no lift.

We booked two room. A (tiny) singel and a comfortable double, facing sea. The rooms were well explained at booking.com`s homepage, so there were no suprises. Some really good restaurants in the city (Poachers and Dylan`s were great) We had a lovely 2 hour walk from Nefyn to Porth Dinllaen (wales coast path)

Location was amazing.

I didn’t realise how tiny the room would be.

There was a good tea set-up, but no fresh milk (pods - no thank you). Real plates, silverware and cups! A communal fridge (in the entry) for fresh milk and leftovers would be nice. No breakfast, which was fine, good coffee in the hood and couple bakeries but they don't open till 9 am. Rooms are nicely decorated (just like the pics) and the bathrooms are new. The waves lulling me to sleep was the best part. A hot water bottle was a nice touch and unfortunately necessary.

Minimal heat. First night the room was cold on arrival - 6:30 pm. The hosts were in Morocco but they responded to Booking messages promptly and turned on the boiler. We agreed to a schedule. The problem was the thermostat (where ever it was located) would shut off the boiler and the room would be cold again in 20 minutes. Messages back and forth, a hot water bottle and in bed early. Morning too cold to get out of bed. More messages. Second night the heat was on at 6 pm. Then off at 7:15, I'm in bed at 7:30 with a hot water bottle. I'm the only one staying in the hotel. Host says my room is 19.5 C. I find electric radiators in the linen closet. I'm miffed that the host didn't even offer me one. I take one and plug it in. 140 quid I don't want to beg for heat.

We loved our stay at Môr Heli! The view was incredible and the room very cozy and stylish. The bed in particular was very comfortable. We appreciated the mini fridge as well.

Beautiful guesthouse in the first row at the Sea. Great and very nicely equipped rooms.
