N Homestay Agra

We really loved the room. It was clean and we had a hot shower. The owner was very pleasant and helpful.

We made use of the services of a tuktuk driver offered to us through the homestay. This was in the beginning quite nice, but at some point we asked to go somewhere for a simple drink and we were taken 20 minutes through town to a restaurant with only tourists. After that we wanted to go to Agra fort but there was suggested to go along the silver market in old town at first. This sounded like a really old and ‘real’ place, we also asked if this was the case and it was confirmed. But it was just a shop were all the tourists were brought. This was really not what we wanted, and we felt really tourist trapped even after asking. It felt like the tuktuk had deals with the shops and restaurant and taking us there was more important than our wish. Definitely not happy about it and it gave us a bad Agra experience.

The property was spacious and clean. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helped us a great deal from other individuals trying to scam us as we had issues with our train being cancelled from Delhi - we honestly cannot thank him enough for all of his help. The family were all welcoming and it was a lovely experience felt very homely and safe. We used Mukul and Rahul (who are brothers) for our tuktuk services as they have worked with the family for years. They are such funny, lovely people who look after you and take you to many different sites/restaurants for a very affordable price. Do not hesitate to use them if you are in agra 😊😊

The place is amazing, it feels like home! Everyone is so warm, kind and nice. A special thanks goes to Mokul he is the best driver in the city! He took me everywhere, in the most beautiful shops with very good products and good prices! I couldnt suggest a better place to stay in Agra :)

Extremely friendly, helpful and communicative host! :) We could ask all details concerning our stay in Agra and were helped instantly. :) Also fantastic communication upfront the stay and free tea and coffee when we arrived. Located in a very safe and high class neighbourhood with a small market and a GREAT (but quite fancy) restaurant around the corner. It's an 18 minutes walk to Taj Mahal East Gate. The room itself is basic, but rather clean and big enough for two or more nights. Good bed even with old matrasses.

Maybe the toilet seat could be changed as it was broken. ;) And, criticizing on a high level: The small carpets inside the room may need some laundry too. ;)

Friendly owner, arranged a tuktuk pickup from the station and then also arranged a tuktuk driver for the next day showing us the main attractions in Agra. Highly recommend!
