"Maybe booking.com should vet some of these places…"

It had a good kitchen and we were able to cook food ourselves all week there. The agents were very responsive and came around quickly to sort out the WiFi that wasn’t working.

It just had its quirks and dated decor. Many of the switches and sockets didn’t work. The downstairs floor in particular was very cold (in October). There was no way to lock the door once inside - we ended up opening the window, leaning out and locking the door from the outside. When we first turned the taps on the water was brown, a few little checks on things like this would make for a much better experience.
