Charming Traditional Cretan Villa "Alisavaki"

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Haus liegt idyllisch mitten im Bergdorf und ist liebevoll traditionell griechisch eingerichtet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt – besonders die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie der gefüllte Kühlschrank mit frischem Obst, Eiern und selbstgemachter Marmelade haben uns begeistert. Die Betten sind super bequem. Herzlich wurden wir empfangen. Leider blieben wir nur 2 Nächte, und das bei Regen, es muss traumhaft sein bei Sonne auf der Terrasse zu sitzen mit den Blick auf die Berge. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Quelle incroyable expérience ! Le logement est très confortable, très bien équipé, rien ne manque, chaque détail est pensé pour que les hôtes aient absolument tout ce qu’il faut ! La propreté est irréprochable, la literie et le linge de grande qualité. Rien ne manque dans la cuisine, et le réfrigérateur regorgeait de bonnes choses à notre arrivée, quel plaisir ! La décoration qui mêle la tradition, la modernité et le confort est sublime. Katsidoni est un village très calme et très isolé, ce logement est parfait pour les amateurs de nature et d’authenticité. La ville de Sitia se trouve à une demi-heure et permet de trouver des supermarchés, de très bonnes tavernes et tout ce qu’il faut. Le logement est idéalement situé pour rayonner dans la partie Est de la Crète. Les terrasses permettent de profiter de l’extérieur, on s’y sent très bien. Pour terminer, il est indispensable d’évoquer l’accueil exceptionnel d’Elsa qui nous a permis de partager des moments très chaleureux et précieux avec elle et son entourage. Que de riches échanges inoubliables…Nous recommandons ce logement sans aucune hésitation!

Tout était absolument parfait !

We liked everything - Elsa was very friendly and helpful host, the house is equipped to the last details including the fridge full of food, coffee, tea… There was also a first aid kit with basic medicines and amazing organic cosmetics in the bathrooms. The location is very peaceful, the house is beautiful, we felt like at home — maybe even better. Thank you Elsa (and your daughters) for everything!

Everything was exceptional, we truly have nothing to complain about — just a small idea: it would be lovely to have two loungers available on the upper terrace, as it's very pleasant to lie in the shade of the pine tree in the morning. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful.

Charme authentique d’une maison superbement rénovée dans un petit village de montagne. Les nuits fraîches étaient très agréables. On ne peut décrire cet endroit tellement il a de charme. La rénovation de la maison est sublime. Et l’accueil extraordinaire.

Devoir partir....

This was easily one of the best stays we've ever had. Elsa was very responsive to our questions prior to arrival and was a superlative host. The location is just what we wanted - a small quiet village with no tourists (rarity in Crete). From dinner with the locals, the quality of the house and furnishings, the charm of the typical old house and the impeccable cleanliness, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely nothing

It was an entirely different experience than staying in a hotel! A great place to relax and feel close to the amazing Cretan nature. Waking up to the birdsong and drinking my tea in the beautiful terrace is a memory that will never fade away! The hosts were very kind, helpful and welcoming. They gave us tons of recommendations for the area which we couldn’t find on our own. In one word: FANTASTIC!

If you like the peace and rest of Crete, than this house is the place to be: it's a beatiful, spacious house in a wonderful natural environment. We received an excellent welcome and would highly recommend this lovely house.
