Wow! What to say about this amazing place. It was wonderful! First the hosts were so helpful and accommodating. And the accommodation itself was like a wonderful home away from home. Plenty of room for everyone (we were an adult family of 5). Bus stop was right out front, which was super convenient (approximately 15-20 minutes to get to the bus terminal on Venice itself).

Everything was fine

Location is top notch. House is very well equipped and absolutely stunning.

While they were flexible about the check-in date which we highly appreciate I must mention they totally lack hospitality skills. The host`s mother was rather rude and pulled very questionable faces when they had to wait 15mins until the others arrived...

This villa in the Venice suburb of Mestre is an exceptional rental property. It is quiet, and very private, since it is situated inside a locking gate and fence, behind a stand of old growth trees. The house is new construction, and very well designed. We were met by the owner's daughter, Francesca, who explained everything in detail and was very helpful with suggestions regarding transportation, stores, restaurants, and answered any questions we had. The entry into the house is via a code. The villa is clean, bright, and cheery, and has three bedrooms with double beds, all with en-suite bathrooms with rainfall showers. The furnishings are tasteful and functional. The second floor balcony looking out over the tree-lined property is especially appealing. The kitchen is well equipped and the hosts provided a bottle of water and cornetto for breakfast. The living area is also well designed. There is adequate parking space for two cars. Outside the gate, the bus stop is located 50 meters to the left (takes 20 minutes to Venice and you can pay with a credit card upon boarding), and 50 meters to the right is a bar for breakfast. A bit further down the road, across the street is a Tabaccheria and a gas station, and another 60 meters beyond the gas station is an excellent bakery that serves breakfast. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance, or a short drive away. The railway station is approximately one mile away from the apartment. There is a washer and dryer. Our only issue with the rental was that the owners do not provide laundry detergent, which makes it impractical to wash clothes, since detergent is only sold in large bottles, which cannot be taken on an airplane after the stay. Otherwise, this is an outstanding rental unit and we would definitely stay here again.

A small amount of laundry detergent would have been nice.
