Staff was always very helpful and ready to help. The shower had very good water pressure and the room was cleaned daily with new bedsheets. Breakfast was also nice. Located 10-15min walk to the beach.

The property has no power generator and the island experience long power cuts almost daily, the longest we witnessed was 11 hours, means no aircon and no shower I suppose the waster pressure originate from an electric water pump. The WiFi was poor in the room, but good in the breakfast/garden area.

The breakfast is basic, but for the price you pay it’s reasonable. The staff is extremely helpful and cheerful, always ready to help. The house is located 10 min walking to the beach. Cleaning was done every day)

One point which could be improved is the WiFi, it’s slow, usually we were going to the restaurant to make a video call or book the tours etc using their WiFi.

We had an amazing stay here! We are thrilled with absolutely everything! Our host, Muhamed, is such a wonderful person. He was super helpful with everything we needed in Nungwi and gave us great tips. The staff is always friendly and smiling, the room is cleaned daily, and the garden is beautifully shaded all day, making it a perfect spot to relax, play cards or read a book. Breakfast in the garden was delicious, and we especially loved the music they played to start the day. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and also great for exploring the village. The area feels completely safe, and there’s even a night guard. We highly recommend this place!

They were able to help us with a travel charger

The hospitality was not genuine. The staff are sweet but you can see them do it out of fear of very serious consequence, which makes the whole experience eerie. The manager charged me for a cycle with no brakes. I almost died twice.

The wifi was not available in the room due to poor strength. This was an inconvience as we needed to get out in the hot weather to comminicate. Breakfast was very basic and could be improved with different things per day. Though the fruit was great. The water pressure was not good for a shower as it trickled but the bathroom was beautiful.

Pole Pole House - WHAT A PIECE OF HEAVEN! Situated in Nungwi, 5 minute walk to Nungwi Main beach is the perfect spot to stay in Zanzibar where you would get value for your money! On top of this, the owner Mohamed makes sure his guests are well looked after and happy at all times. Mohamed assisted me with taxi’s, a tour and a ride to the airport, he sorted everything out for me. He went as far as cooking an awesome delicious meal for all the guests the one night to enjoy - Egyptian food, WOW! I was very happy with my room, just what I needed for my 7 days in Zanzibar. The staff was great as well, helping me with anything I needed. I also made use of the massage services twice, it was very good. The breakfast was also very nice, starting from 7:30 to 10:00 am. They have a variety of fruits, hot dishes, breads and eggs your way. I was happy every morning! There is an outside section where you can just sit and relax when you need a break from the busy Nungwi beach, I use to sit there after a beach day and just relax! Thank you Mohamed and Pole Pole House! I had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back again.
