Solar do Bisavô

Pascale and Igor have created a little paradise in the middle of Algarve. Every detail in their beautiful estate has been thought through. But what makes the difference is their unmatched hospitality. They are the perfect guests. Oh, and the breakfast… probably one of the best I’ve ever had while in holiday. We will be back. 10 out of 10!

There’s nothing not to like here. Perfect 10.

Nous avons été touchés par tout l’amour que vous mettez dans chaque coin, chaque détail, si soigneusement décoré et pensé. C’est vraiment un lieu plein de charme et de douceur. Le petit-déjeuner chaque matin, les nappes en lin, les serviettes, la créativité et l’attention dans chaque plat, toujours apportés avec le sourire… tout cela a rendu notre séjour vraiment unique et inoubliable. On sent à chaque instant tout l’amour et le soin que vous mettez dans ce lieu et dans votre accueil. Nous espérons de tout cœur revenir un jour.

We stayed three nights at Solar do Bisavô and it truly exceeded our expectations. Everything radiated quality, from the beautifully finished room to the breakfast, the peaceful garden and the high standard of the bed and bath linen. You could feel that Pascale and Igor have poured their hearts into this place. Their pride and dedication to their life’s work is visible in every detail. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. A calm and soothing atmosphere settled the moment we arrived. Every morning, Pascale surprised us with a different homemade breakfast. From Breton crêpes with lemon to panna cotta with fresh fruit, each dish was both refined and full of care. The location was also excellent, with lovely day trips possible to Tavira, Olhão and Faro. But even just staying on the property was a pleasure, surrounded by stillness, space and soft hills. A place we will remember for its atmosphere, sincere hospitality and understated excellence.

Die Woche ist viel zu schnell vergangen und schon müssen wir Abschied nehmen vom wunderschönen Solar do Bisavo und den liebevollen Gastgebern. Wir bedanken uns für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und wir haben uns sofort wohl und gut aufgenommen gefühlt. Die Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit von Pascale und Igor war immer und überall zu spüren. Das Haus ist mit so viel Gefühl renoviert und ihr habt viel Geschmack bei der Gestaltung und Einrichtung bewiesen. Die Gastgeber haben einen wahren Schatz und ganz besonderen Ort darauf gemacht. Danke Pascale für das herrliche Frühstück. Du hast unseren kulinarischen Horizont wahrlich erweitert.....Alles Liebe !

Wir hätten viel länger bleiben sollen !

Une parenthèse de quiétude dans un établissement exceptionnel décoré avec beaucoup de goût…très chic et accueillis par Pascale et Igor dotés d’une très grande gentillesse soucieux de notre confort et non avides de bonnes suggestions. Pascale et Igor ont magnifié cet ancienne Quinta Tout y est absolument superbe : la décoration soignée dans les moindres détails, les chambres sont magnifiques sans oublié le jardin et la piscine qui s’intègre parfaitement. Le petit déjeuner est exceptionnel avec des produits locaux et variés préparés avec soin par les maîtres de la maison Et je n’oublie pas la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Pascale et Igor qui nous ont parlé de la région et de leur maison avec passion Je n’ai regretté qu’une chose : ne pas y avoir passé plus de temps

Pascale and Igor were wonderful hosts. They have renovated their historic property beautifully and with great style. My room was spacious and very comfortable (with an amazing ceiling!). Breakfasts were fantastic and featured delicious local produce. Pascale showed me the route for a beautiful two hour circular walk amongst the cork trees in a protected area starting in Barranco do Velho which I definitely recommend. I had a very relaxing stay and would definitely recommend Solar Do Bisavo. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners have attended to every detail when renovating a beautiful old building. But it’s also their care and attention which makes a stay here outstanding. And of course the wonderful breakfasts on the terrace. We’ll be back .
