"AWFUL"

I booked this stay for my elderly disabled parents during Ramadan, at a time when hotel prices in the area were already significantly inflated due to the season and demand. However, due to escalating regional security concerns and official UK travel warnings at the time, I contacted the hotel well in advance requesting cancellation support or some form of flexibility for my parents’ safety and wellbeing. Despite the exceptional circumstances, no refund, credit, amendment, or alternative solution was offered, resulting in a financial loss of £3,222.09. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of compassion and understanding shown throughout the situation. During a period centred around charity, empathy, and consideration for others, I genuinely expected more humanity and flexibility, particularly given this involved elderly disabled travellers and genuine safety concerns.
