Sea view Villa Millendreath Looe

It was just what we wanted-right by the beach. The facilities inside the property were excellent, even for a very finicky customer like myself. there was everything I needed; there is no need to bring half of your kitchen with you like I do. Another point to note, the property looked exactly how it was advertised, which is not always the case. There was no deterioration in furnishing or decor; It was exactly like the pictures. Two teenaged girls were kept occupied and very comfortable; it was difficult to get them out on check out day. My highlights were waking up and looking out the window into the ocean, as well as putting the dinner on, leaving the girls to watch over it and being able to put my flip-flops on and stroll down to the beach within a few minutes. Nothing - I’m extremely particular and finicky so it would not be fair. One more nights stay would have been great- but it was booked so I couldn’t add another.

Closeness to the sea, facilities on the apartment, balcony, welcome gifts, organised hosts, beach cafe and sauna

The grounds are tired I am sure they are looking at this and it is winter but definitely not a reason to put you off. Great value and great apartment.

Location is good and view is stunning. Nicely furnished and well provisioned with some basic kitchen staples (oil, salt, pepper etc.) and some generous and unexpected extras (wine, biscuits, coffee pods, tin foil, cling film etc). Ice cubes ready in the freezer were very welcome for our G&Ts on arrival. Free parking worked fine.

Not as clean as I'd expect, in particular under the main bed and in the bathroom. Hot water failed in kitchen and bathroom sinks on day 2. Contacted owner who quickly offered to come and look but as shower working and leaving next day we opted not to be inconvenienced. Lots of steps & slope to access but we were warned in advance so this was fine.

The villa was so well equipped and had lovely welcome food, incl. scones and jam cream, and it literally had all appliances, and the kitchen had everything... even a coffee machine... washing machine and dishwasher and milk in the fridge....Great view.....no matter the weather. There are lots of games and things to do and a great TV. Dogs did not cost extra and were nice dog beds, and the area is really dog friendly... we just brought our own dog towels and blankets to cover furniture. Easy to keep clean as had laminate flooring. Even in October...

We knew about the steps, so we were prepared... it was not too many, but it is something to consider if you are unfit like us.... A coat rack in the living room would have been good...

it was a great place for us 70yr olds to have a fab weekend,, it was spotlessly clean, had a very thoughtful welcome basket, the beds were extremely comfortable and a great place to set of and see some of Cornwall ,, we will definitely be back 😀

haha the stairs were a challenge but felt much fitter by the end of our weekend.

Jo and James, our gracious hosts, created an exceptional experience at the villa. Their thoughtfulness was evident in every detail, ensuring our stay was well-equipped and organized. We were welcomed with a delightful basket of goodies, and they even provided a special basket for our furry friends! The hosts were always available to answer questions, demonstrating their genuine care for the quality of our experience. Their dedication truly made our stay amazing. The surrounding scenery was stunning, offering a quiet and tranquil atmosphere. We enjoyed a truly amazing week away in this slice of paradise.
