"When we checked in, the apartment was in very poor condition."

Location is good.

When we checked in, the apartment was in very poor condition, including: • A bathroom that was dirty, felty, and visibly affected by mold • A broken bed, making it unusable • A dirty kitchen area, including garbage left behind • Overall lack of cleanliness and maintenance inconsistent with the listing We immediately contacted the owner to address these issues. Instead of providing a proper solution, the owner attempted to clean the apartment on the spot using large amounts of bleach, creating a strong aerosolized chemical environment that made the space unsafe to remain in. This response did not resolve the underlying problems and further compromised our ability to use the accommodation.
