"My New Favourite Hotel in Bridgend"

I travel to Bridgend often and have tried many hotels, but this one is a standout. It’s stylish, thoughtfully designed, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are exceptional—friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. The food and drink offering is fantastic, with Japanese and Spanish dishes, a sangria bar, plus dedicated gin and sake selections. This will be my go-to place from now on.

I initially thought the Japanese Restaurant was at the hotel but found out it was an 8 night walk - No issue for me but the only thing I could mention when asked

"Lovely , relaxing and quiet."

We always stay at Cae when we come to visit our son and his family, the staff is always lovely and welcoming and the breakfast is always excellent.

The only complaint I have which is nothing major is that the pillows are too hard

"Worth staying for the cocktails alone!"

Beautiful building with a lovely outside area for soaking up the sunshine with a cocktail or two from the bar!

Unfortunately we had to leave early (7:30am) before breakfast was served and there was no alternative offered despite asking if a small snack travel bag could be put together or take away coffee.

We had an absolutely wonderful time during our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean and clearly very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome — nothing was too much trouble for them, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The rooms were extremely comfortable, offering a great night’s sleep, and the breakfast was lovely — fresh, delicious, and with plenty of options to choose from. Short walk to the train station. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back!

The only negative was the mirror which was situated inside the wardrobe and distorted your shape.
