VL Luxury Villa

First off, we were given a warm welcome by Froso! She was just lovely and took time to send us links to the local tavernas, supermarket and bakery, as well as the best beaches and anything else we needed to make our stay enjoyable! Thank you Froso for everything!!! The location of the villa is INCREDIBLE! It sits well up on the side of the mountain, so the view of the sea is completely unobstructed. This panoramic view is second to none. We had to keep pinching ourselves because it's just that beautiful!!! It's located about 5 minutes from town and is very close to many cool places to visit. The sunrise is over-the-top gorgeous and the location is peaceful and quiet all day and all night! The villa itself was very clean and very nicely appointed. It had everything you need from a well-equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge to two bathrooms with showers and laundry. All three bedrooms had comfy beds, their own air conditioning unit, and an awesome view! The villa also has free wi-fi. Outside, each patio offers both shaded and sunshine filled areas to relax, whether it's up by the villa or down lounging by the beautiful pool that overlooks the sea. The hammock is the perfect touch! If you're a cook, there is even an outside grilling area with a woodfire pizza oven! This was a wonderful place for our family! We definitely made some unforgettable memories at VL Luxury Villa! We loved having space to relax inside and out. We spent hours on the patio listening to music, playing cards, and hanging out together as well as cooling off in the private pool whenever we felt like it! The pool was actually pretty awesome to have after a hot day of exploring ruins! We were able to make day trips to kayak Epidrovos, visit the Mycenean ruins, go to the beach in Astros and climb the steps to the Palimidi fortress in Nafplio, all the while enjoying traditional Greek cuisine along the way!

There wasn't really anything we didn't like, but I would suggest that the exterior light by the back door NOT share the main power switch controlled by the key. It was a little daunting navigating locking and unlocking the door and gate in the dark after coming in from dinner, etc. If you are looking for a place that is within walking distance from things, this is not a good fit (but im telling you it's worth having to hop in the car for 5 minutes).

Terrific location, view over the sea is extraordinary, pool is perfect, terrace to die for, and a wonderful host who was always on hand to answer questions and offer advice.

I can think of little that could have been better.
