Die wunderbare Lage in der Toskana.
Nach der 9 stündigen Wanderung noch bis zum Ende der Stadt Gambassi Terme zu gehen war eine Herausforderung. In 31 Grad Hitze.

La struttura storica era molto carina, un po' lontana dal centro paese e quindi dai servizi base.
Purtroppo c'era un cane nel vicinato che ha abbaiato tutta la notte senza sosta dalle 1:00 alle 7:00 di mattina

The large and deep tub was very nice after a long day of hiking on the Via Francigena. The bed was comfortable. The patio area was beautiful in the evening for having a drink and watching sunset. It was nice to have a clothes line for drying handwashed clothes, and a mini fridge in the common area for leftovers. Check in was easy, we never met the host. The front door locks automatically so don't forget your key if you're hanging out on the patio!
If you are walking on the Via Francigena it is a bit of a long uphill walk at the end of a long day, plus you must walk back downhill into town for dinner, then back up again. Not a problem if you have a car.

Superbe chambre avec salle de bain privée dans une jolie maison tout en pierre Terrasse pour manger très pratique Arrivée autonome c'est super Gîte au plus haut du village mais ce n'est pas un problème pour repartir vers Volterra ça évite déjà une montée , mais prévoir de quoi faire vos repas avant d'arriver au gîte 😁 Faisant du velotourisme nous avons pu garer nos vélos en bas des escaliers Pas de bouteilles d'eau dans le frigo dommage , elles auraient éte bien appréciées
