Casa do Pereiro

This is a very beautiful house with a very attentive and charming owner who met us, gave us the keys, explained everything. A small sweet treat was very nice. Thank you very much Luis and Isabel for all your hospitality and kindness.

The house was modern and very clean, had all the expected home comforts. Coffee, tea and condiments were made available. A choice of parking either inside the property grounds or outside the main entrance. The surroundings of this small hamlet were quiet with polite neighbours. Short distance to the supermarket and into the main town.

The only negative I would have is that there is no bathroom facility in the main living space area, we had to go upstairs to the bedroom area to use the bathroom which became more of a nuisance but, it did not distract us from all the positives. The other comment I would make is, guests that book a longer stay should have a washing machine made available to use in a modern house of this calibre.

Casa do Pereiro is a beautiful 3 bedroom house with magnificent views over the valley. Luis and Isabel are the perfect hosts and couldn't have done more for us. It was a home from home which we loved.

Casa do Pereiro was wonderful! A beautiful home, immaculately maintained and set in a beautiful location with access to groceries/restaurants mere minutes away. 30 mins from the beautiful National Park. Hosts were kind, welcoming and while I did not require any additional assistance from them, I have no hesitation that had I needed them they were only a text away.

Apple maps took me in a slightly crazy route. However the host was waiting for my arrival and was able to help me navigate the last stretch.

Wonderful host, absolutely stunning location, close to Braga and the Geres natural park. There is also a Lidl less than 5 minutes away. The house was very large and lovely, nice fully-stocked kitchen for all types of cooking, comfortable living room and many other necessary amenities. And the heat worked fabulously! We were not cold despite winter temperatures. Luis was a fantastic host, he was so friendly and offered some great recommendations for the area and even checked up on us. We hope to stay again in the near future.
