Lake Marion Inn

Price, room seemed nice enough for price, good location.

We had been driving for 8 hours when we checked in. The staff did not tell us that they didn't have water. When we got into our room, I used the toilet once then there was no water at all. I went back to the office and asked them about it. He said, oh yeah, we should've told you they're working on a broken pipe, and we should have water soon. I went back to the room and we waited a half an hour while we tried to get the room cooled with the air conditioning to little avail. I returned to the office, asked if they had any idea how much longer it would be for water and he couldn't say. I told him he should have let us know at check in about the water situation and that we were not prepared to take a chance that it would be for an extended period and that we would like to check out. He was actually quite gracious about it and helped me figure out how to cancel the reservation on Booking. We moved to another hotel that had water, and their AC worked better. More money, but worth every dime.

If you have a boat parking is very constricted and limited.

Close to the highway, very nice small town, and the price was fair.

Bed and pillows were comfortable, key didn't work correctly, but manager fixed it right away, came a bit early and accomodated me and didn't charge me extra, bathroom shower dated, but clean, no frills, but good enough for one night and the price was right. Near interstate and very quiet rural kind of town and you can walk to several restaurants, felt safe, since no breakfast included I could leave at anytime and just leave key in room so that was convenient

Room was a little light because of spot light, but you knew nobody was going to break into your car. No breakfast

I think the price was pretty good and it's a pretty decent hotel but the door got stuck every time we shut it in the restroom and I saw a couple roaches in the room

I like the value but at the same time you get what you pay for
