St George Hotel Great Yarmouth

The location is key, a minutes walk from the seafront which was very ideal. It was also a big enough hotel for all of us to stay in, the room also came with a full fridge which meant we could keep all our drinks cold throughout the hot weekend. Hotel cleaning staff were very efficient in making sure the bathroom was clean and that we had clean towels each day.

It’s very out dated, the room is very small and compact with stain in the carpet and a very uncomfortable bed. The lift is very retro and looks like it’s seen better days and sadly, if other guests don’t shut the door at the 3rd floor, you can’t call it from reception. Parking was also a problem but I think that was due to the bank holiday as it was extra busy.

Very short walking distance to the beach and the main strip

Shower is just awful, first morning was very weak and ice cold on the second morning it had at least warmed up a little bit but still only a dribble

Very difficult to park nearby

I didn't run out of toilet roll which was amazing. Good location in comparison to the sea front.

No remote control for the TV, no kettle for hot drinks, a steep stair case behind the bedroom door to get up to the bed. Parking is horrendous and I got a parking ticket even though I was in the bay.

Microwave and fridge and tv and comfy beds and warm shower.

Little bit hot in the room though I did use my own fan which helped a bit. Not much else I can say at this time.
