We just didn't like the hotel room and the bedroom from Peter and Danielle

We didn't get the room service we wanted here from Peter and Danielle that's all

Beautiful view, good breakfast, staff helpful. On road parking easy and reasonable. Location excellent . Dog friendly is a must for us

For us it’s comfortable and clean, a bit dated for some people but we find it charming. This year Dog not allowed in bar and dining room as an incident elsewhere in Town caused all hotels to change( so we were told. ) we managed.

Managed to book last minute and get a sea view room. Room was clean. Breakfast was ok. Fridge in the room but not switched on prior to arrival.

Hotel policy is no daily housekeeping so bins were not emptied and we had to go to reception every day for teabags, sugar and milk. Cups not replaced daily and beds not made. Bar closes at 8.00pm so you have to use the bar in the ballroom where there was entertainment on so it was dark and loud. If you want a quiet drink in the bar you have to carry drinks upstairs from the ballroom. Reception staff were not overly friendly or welcoming, clearly just doing a job.

I PAID ALMOST £500 TO STAY FOR HALF THE WEEK & I NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE BEEN GIVEN A ROOM WHERE THE STAFF SAID THE HOTEL IS TOTALLY FULL SO THEY WON'T MOVE ME. NOR DID THEY CARE. I WAS GIVEN A TINY FOR 2 PEOPLE. THE BIGGER ISSUE WAS THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK ON THE ENTIRE 4TH FLOOR. IT WORKS FINE IN THE LOBBY WHICH IS POINTLESS . I WOULD LIKE TO RAISE A COMPLAINT TO THE HOTEL AS THE ROOM HAD A SCAFFOLDING AND LIGHT BLACK OUT DUE TO THIS AND HARDLY ANY AIR CAME IN TO THE WINDOW THAT WAS SET TO BE OPENED A FRACTION. THIS IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A HOTEL. AS RECEPTION SAID THEY WERE FULL WHEN I AAKED COR THE DEPUTY MANAGER I WAS FORCED TO STAY 5 DAYS IN CONDITIONS WAY WAY WORSE THAN A 1 STAR HOTEL. I AM FORMALLY WRITING A COMPLAINT TO THE HOTEL ALSO. I WAS TREATED LIKE AN ANIMAL AND PLACED IN A ROOM FIT FOR ANIMAL. THE LIGHT BLOCKED BY SCAFFOLDING AND NOT BEING ABLE TO LOOK OUTSIDE WITH A BLOCKED WINDOW WAS THE LAST STRAW.
