"Pretty cottage in lovely, peaceful, hilly location. Not great for elderly"

It was a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Beds were comfy. Peaceful location 15-20 minute walk to the sea front, (hilly walk back). Towels were actually provided though it said they weren’t

Was surprised to find that the toilet was downstairs which was an issue for my elderly mom. It’s also worth noting that the stairs were very uneven and awkward for elderly. The heating controls were actually in the hall not in the lounge as described, we found this the second night after a very cold evening. Also for the host - the bin collection is now Tuesday not Monday.

It was so cozy, just the right size. The shower was great. Kitchen was perfect size.

It would have been nice to have a freezer for ice cubes

The Provisions were Excellent. Good Provision of most things what are needed. Very Cosy. The Property also has a stream at the back. Please park at the back of the property

Checking time @ 10.00a.m. it's to early to get ready. 12.00noon should be an ideal time to leave.

"A lovely cosy cottage in a excellent location - great base to explore Exmoor and the coast!"

Location was fab! Very easy for the town and amenities and for walks in Exmoor. The garden was wonderful and relaxing to sit in.

Internet was to slow but that might be the area? The front door was very hard to lock and unlock - you mainly go out the back so it was manageable .

"A lovely cosy spot to have a well deserved rest after a long day exploring the moors."

Beautiful period property, cosy, quirkily decorated. Beautifully decorated kitchen and super inviting living room. The crocked walls added extra charm to our stay. The property description stated no towels but there were towels there for us. The garden with the stream running at its back made the whole experience even more idyllic.

It wasn’t clean enough. We found dirty crockery and surfaces in the property. The fridge doesn’t have a freezer compartment.
