Abhi's cafe avaduthura kovalam

Super nice owners, and staff working there. Really, notpossible to ask for more. We also ordered how cooked dinener and it was delicious. Highly reccomended

If you like to stay in Kovalam and you do not really like touristic hotels, try this one. You might be surprised to meet this friendly people and enjoy your stay.

The bed was a little hard for me

The place Is very quite, even if is on the street is surrounded by nature. The room I got had double beds, double windows ( more light and wind), fridge, heather to make tea and coffee, drinking water filler outside. Family restaurant ground Flor. Lovely sound of the temples and the animals around.

One of the best places I have stayed at. The people were warm and friendly. The room and bathroom was spotless, it also included a refrigerator. The breakfast was delicious as were the other meals I had there along with the fresh lime juice. All this for very very reasonable prices which you don't expect near the ocean. I would recommend you stay here. They also run a surf shop at the beach, I tried it out here and enjoyed it.

I literally couldn't find anything I disliked here

We received a very warm welcome from Abhi and were able to check in early as the room was available. Everything was lovely and clean and the room was very nicely furnished. In all our travels throughout India over the years this place was the highest standard. We found everyone very friendly and Abhi had gone to a lot of trouble to think of the small details which make for a good stay like providing a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival together with a bottle of chilled mineral water in the fridge . Everything worked well and the place had good security. The location was ideal as it was not far from the seafront and shops. Excellent value for money and we would highly recommend Abhi's place.

Nothing to dislike.

Nice stay in kovalam room very clean nice staff

The room was very comfortable, with plenty of cupboard space, chairs, table and fridge. There was a small lockable cupboard in which to keep valuables. The fan provided adequate cooling and I certainly didn't require air-con. A free laundry service was provided. Both soap and towels were provided and even though I was only there 5 nights the offer was there to change my sheets.

The location, although being nicely away from the beach (but just a few minutes walk away) it was used heavily by bikes. This is no fault of the hotel - it just is what it is! Once I was asleep I didn't notice any disturbance.

The staff was very helpful. They picked me up at the train platform. They were very accommodating and helpful with everything I needed. Communication was great before I arrived. They provided water refills, which is great for the environment.

The bathroom could have been a little cleaner and the sheets and towels were stained.
