We're in love with the place, everything was great. Until power when off.

We had a power outrage for halft of the day and the entire night, heat is really bad and mosquitos are worse. So be prepared for power outrage. Other than that is was great.

Amazing location on Playa Merida. Right on the beach. Chill local spot. Peaceful. Large room

The door on my room rattled a lot and the AC didn't work. I could hear dogs barking all night (kind of a thing in Nicaragua)

The dorm room was just a 3 person room, that was great. Its directly at the beach, where you can see beautiful sunsets. You can rent the kayak for one hour for free. Free good breakfast (you can choose what you want)

It did not have a kitchen, so you kind of have to eat dinner in the hotel/ hostel

Friendly staff, good breakfast, restaurant included, directly at Lago Cocibolca. Haven't tried the kayaks, but other guests did. It's a hostel located between locals, you'll get waked by roosters ;) Just for information: chicken bus takes two hours to ferry, shuttle approx one hour.

I loved the location on the water, it is far from the ferry and down a bit of a bumpy road, but we had our own transport so was fine. Nice to be away from the crowds in a very peaceful place. The bungalow is simple, clean & comfortable with good a/c & wifi. A really good breakfast of your choice is included & the beer is ice cold! One of the owners, Fernando is super friendly, funny & chill. The kayak rental was great.

The neighbouring properties have multiple dogs who are very skinny & mostly timid. The grocery store sells dog food in bulk cheap & it warms the heart to see these dogs with increased energy after a couple of meals.

Bed was comfortable, breakfast delicious. Kayak 1h free. Staff was friendly.

Hammock had a big hole was unusable, no good place to chill by the lake. Bathroom was dirty and urgently needed a new seat.

Great location, loved the sunset kayaking, staff was all so friendly and helpful.

The property has a beautifil lakeside setting with a lovely private beach, gorgeous sunset views, views of one of the volcanoes, very friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. They provide free kayaks too.

Everything is good.

Waterfront was nice.

The area was noisy and there were scary animal sounds that kept me up at night. The driveway was difficult to drive down in a scooter. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the pillow was the worst imaginable sack of lumpy cotton. Missing basic things like a toilet paper holder or soap dish in the shower. My towel had a rip in it!
