Lake Front Modern Beach House-Hatteras Island

The house is very cozy. Definitely made for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect. Close to beaches but not so close that you have to worry about traffic.

Hot tub was wonderful. Had I a large group, the home would have been ideal. I overindulged and overpaid.

One adult traveler, booking one night before it sat unrented for the weekend, should not have been charged full price. Dirty wash cloth wrapped around shower curtain rod. Could not enjoy the stay

The property was nice and comfortable. It was big and had everything you could want in a house.

The touch sense sink was quite annoying, only seemed to work when it felt like it. The rug placement was not great, hard to open doors. The house was great. But in our opinion the owners should hire a new management company. Michelle advertised being available via text, phone call or email any time throughout our stay. We had asked if we could check in 1 hour early at 4pm, which is incredibly late to begin with, and after asking multiple times over two days we finally got a response that it would be ok. Only to arrive at the property and our door code was not programmed. We texted Michelle, and called her multiple times and after 30 minutes got a response. which May not seem like long, but when you have to toddlers that have been in the car over 6 hours that have to pee, that’s a very long time. We asked for late check out as well, with absolutely no response. If you advertise being available you should respond. Also they require you to check out by 9 am so the cleaning crew has time to clean, I’m not sure why they need that much time considering you do the laundry and dishes and take out the trash, and they do horrific job of cleaning. There was even urine and pubic hair left on the toilets

Loved the view the house had! Also loved how much was provided to use such as bathroom, kitchen, and cleaning supplies. The hot tub was also a great addition to the home.

Nothing about the property was an issue for me
