Although room appeared clean, there was a smell which made it hard to sleep and the room seemed damp, no kettle or beverage kit in room, although tea and coffee provided in kitchen but no milk, carpets need shampooing, however you get what you pay for, worth paying the extra £20 and staying elsewhere!

We we're in room G01 and there was no where to hang our clothes we travelled by train nex to hang clothes up after trave. Yet a massive space surely you could put just a clothes rail in that space would not cost much ? First time we have experienced this in yr rooms & we have stayed quite a number of times now.

GIGBThe hotel is very central Bolton just a few mins walk from train station. Everything looks modern and recently renovated
A bit difficult to find the hotel. There doesn’t seem to be any signage. The room looked modern and clean but there were stains on the wall. The room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, we asked the receptionist about moving but it wasn’t worth the hastle. He said that this room was a free upgrade but I believe that was a lie as there is no option to choose any different rooms on booking.com they all seem to be the same rooms. The deposit is a bit of a pain. Once you check out you have to wait for them to check the room which just feels uncomfortable like they don’t trust you. You get the depot back though no issues if everything is ok.
