Radio Skye Pods

Suzy, Adam and Robert, were absolutely helpful and very welcoming. They answered all questions, helped to get oriented and all made my stay like home. The Pods are very nice, clean and very convenient. Walking distance from downtown. I took walk every evening to downtown after being all of the places on Sky. There is shortcut that Adam showed me. Every morning and evening I was listening Radio Sky. The location is perfect. You can easily access whole Isle of Sky. It is a lovable place. Planning to come back to Sky and definetely will stay there again!

Dormire in una pod è stata sicuramente un’esperienza, peccato che fossimo nel pieno della tempesta Amy! L’interno è piccolo ma molto accogliente e arredato bene, la cucina è fornita di tutto e il bagno per quanto piccolo è abbastanza comodo. Le pods sono solo due e si trovano a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro di Portree. C’è la possibilità di parcheggiare proprio di fianco alla propria pod ma la proprietà non è recintata. Tutto sommato è stato divertente dormire qui una notte!

Se siete amanti dei viaggi comodi questo posto chiaramente non fa per voi, i servizi sono inesistenti. Al check-in e al check-out non abbiamo visto nessuno, abbiamo trovato le chiavi sulla porta e lì le abbiamo lasciate, ma ci avrebbe fatto piacere essere accolti da qualcuno. Il problema principale è stato il freddo! Dentro la pod si congelava e l’unico riscaldamento era un termosifone elettrico. Però ci hanno lasciato una borsa dell’acqua calda e sotto le coperte si stava bene.

The location is great. The pod was compact but comfortable and came with a well-equiped kitchenette. It comes with your own private parking space next to the pod.

Location to Portree centre was good. Accommodation was clean and functional.

No Television, and the bed was crammed tight to walls, so you had to crawl off the front of it, which was a little inconvenient in the middle of the night.
