Central Apartment - Industrial

Very comfortable apartment. Fantastic flat with beautifully designed interiors. Location was ideal as v central location. has all the modern touches needed — I especially loved the milk frother alongside the coffee machine and guest subscriptions pre- logged in on Netflix. The bed was comfortable, and the whole place was warm, cosy, and thoughtfully set up.

Location was perfect for our needs. We had stayed in the apartments previously so knew what to expect. Price was better than a large nearby hotel, with more freedom as we got the whole flat to ourselves, rather than just a small bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and the whole place was warm throughout our stay. Internet was good.

We thought we were staying in the same apartment as previous stay, due to same photograph on booking site, but were put in a different apartment within same block. A gate had been erected over the parking area, we were not told about this or given a code for it. This was on a different floor. Stairway very dark during the day with no lights on until evening, making it dark and dangerous on a steep staircase on dark mornings and afternoons.. A Lot of the plug sockets within the apartment didn't work, lights were very dull and no bedside lights so bedroom impossible to use to put on make up or do hair in evening. No sugar or instant coffee and coffee machine didn't work so pods pointless. Fridge supposed to be integrated but not and tipping out of unit. Coat hook on back of bedroom door fell off. Shower tray was filthy, curtains hanging off rail in lounge and not possible for us to put them on rail again due to no hooks. Lots of someone else's personal belongings strewn around apartment in cupboards. ie toiletries, bedding etc. No full length mirror - and lack of other mirrors. Tv - limited as to what worked on it. NO Short Term Let Licence paperwork visible for guests - this is a condition of the licence, and frankly I don't know how this place even got a licence in the first place. Has it got one?! No pat testing has been done or EICR - that is obvious from lack of useable electrical points and items not working. No fire escape instructions or notices. I really think this place is a fire hazard waiting to happen.

No full length mirror. We have stayed here before and I did mention it then but still not one there

Comfortable and clean and excellent communication from owner who changed my booking to another flat due to a boiler problem in the one I'd booked.

The heating and hot water not working when I arrived due to low boiler pressure (boiler is new only replaced on 25th September) luckily same boiler as my own so knew how to top it up but really shouldn't have to - no information pack including WiFi password so couldn't connect - no instructions either for tv so couldn't find bbc / stv and Netflix said no plan taken out - no mat for shower and washbasin tap loose - wc seat also loose.

My best night's sleep yet on our Scotland trip, thinking because it was cool in the apartment. LOVED the washer/ dryer, LOVED the dishwasher, LOVED the shower, LOVED responsiveness of owner, and most of all it was the first place with a french press for real coffee not instant!

No dedicated parking.

The beds are so comfy and it's local for everything, really enjoyed our stay.
