Excellent caravan in a great location with a fantastic host

It was comfortable and clean

Nothing it is everything what it says it is

Caravan site was nice and all facilities where ok Lady who runs the cravan was very helpful and recrified things that was wrong (shower head)

Cleanliness of caravan was shocking Beds where very uncomfortable Sofa uncomfortable

Had no oven for while time previous holiday makers broke it and had to be ordered which wasn't replaced by the time we left which incurred extra expenses for takeaways

The caravan is on Lyons, Winkups Caravan park. The caravan was right next to the park (you can see it from the door), which was perfect for our children 7, 7, 11, 11. They like the independence of being on the park without having an adult there but also knowing that we aren't very far. The lady who runs the caravan was very lovely and communicated with us very well throughout our stay. The caravan was clean and had a selection of board games to use. The kitchen was well stocked too, with pans, plates, cups, glasses and cutlery, plus a tra towel. The entertainment wasn't the best but the girls and I enjoyed bingo beats. The swimming pool is tiny, you pay £8 a child and £10 and adult for a 5 day stay but they limit the people using it, so my girls had lots of fun. It's only 1.1m so the girls didn't need me to get in too, which was a bonus. The arcades were OK, the girls enjoyed it but it could get a little crammed. The fun fair across the road is definitely worth a visit, we had so much fun. On a few days (definitely a Wednesday and Friday) there is a market there too, also worth a visit. We walked to the beach, which is a stone beach and a 10 minute walk away using the foot bridge over the railway line.

The chippy on site wasn't the best. The park area had quite a few empty crisp packets and drinks cans on the floor. I did see the caravan park staff cleaning once but it got quite messy. The bins are too far from the park.
