DANGEROUS STEEP NARROW DARK STAIRS….. Be careful booking here. Horrible building, dangerous steep, dark stairs. Good luck carrying your luggage up the stairs and then down! Property owner suggested we leave our luggage in the entrance but the employee she sent to help us said not to leave luggage in entrance as it would get stolen, because the building has other people living there…. Not only travelers . The property owner is hard to speak with, does not answer phone. You must call many times to speak with property owner. After booking property owner asks for a photo of your passport. You need a code to get into the building and another code to get the key to the room. I tried to cancel because of the dangerous steep stairs, property owner refused…. I spoke in English with her, she spoke English fluently but when booking called for the cancellation she said she only spoke Italian. I was very upset with the situation. Property says it has parking…. It does NOT, you must park on the street or pay 20 euros at the garage. I only wanted ONE room but when I booked the app said the booking could not be made….. I tried again a few minutes later and my booking was confirmed. Later I checked my booking and I had been charged for two rooms….. booking.com could not help me and the property owner did not care about my situation or my fear of the dangerous steep dark stairs.
