The Old Stables

Location was rural although on the outskirts of Ponteland and near to amenities - restaurants/supermarket etc. We found it to be in an ideal location and very peaceful.

To get access to the outdoor seating area where there was a small table, you had to walk around the outside of the property which meant we did not find it easy to access. It would have been lovely to access it through the living room and we would have used it for as it was we did not sit outside although the weather was stunning.

It was absolutely lovely—everything was comfortable and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again!

Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. The WiFi was okay for general use, but it lagged quite a bit when I was trying to work from home—just something that might be worth looking into.

Plenty of plus points. The Stables is in a lovely location and has been stylishly and creatively redevelopment and designed. The interior is high quality. The TV and Wi-Fi were excellent. The bed was comfortable and the bath was a real plus point - very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and everything we needed pretty much.

Be aware that the property is slightly awkward to navigate in places - especially if you have any mobility issues. The lounge space is very small with a sofa that faces a wall closely opposite and not positioned for the TV. The upstairs is in the loft space - and one side of the bed has no side access. The bathroom is stunning, but the toilet is not the easiest to access, especially for taller men! Just things to be aware of.

Absolutely unreal stay! Gorgeous accommodation. Would love to return!
