Cat Nap Cottage

Lovely little apartment style accommodation. Beautifully decorated. Comfy bed. Good shower. Lovely patio area. Good kitchenette. Cheryl was a fab host. The dog and cats are very friendly. Be careful not to drive away with a cat in your car! Close to beach and penguin colony. absolutely stunning scenery on drive here from Cape Town.

We were there for just one night. Loved the airy simplicity and colourful vibe and cat theme throughout, and that it is within easy walking distance to the sea. It certainly is a very cheerful, unique and cute cottage! The open plan cottage is very spacious, and has all the basics you need for a short stay. A super firm mattress, nice soft supportive pillows, fluffy bath towels, shower gel, hand soap and hand cream are available to use. Cheryl is very friendly, and we enjoyed meeting her cats and doggie too. They are around, but don't bother one. We will definitely stay with her again when we are in the area again.

We loved everything about the cottage, but missed a little table to sit at, and a mirror in the sleeping area. Cheryl appreciated our feedback.

Lovely spacious room with parking in a good location close to the beach

There are only sheer nets over the patio door, no curtains, so we were awake as soon as it got light at around 5am which wasn’t great. The crockery hadn’t been cleaned, there were lipstick marks and coffee marks still on the mugs.

A charming little flatlet with all the necessary amenities. Cheryl, our host, was lovely, and her cats and dog were charming. Nice and close to the beach and the penguin sanctuary.

Great place to relax and decompress after a long flight from the USA. Loved the cats and dog. Felt like home away from home. Easy access to walks on the beach. Dinner at Camelot was good and walkable distance as well. Very quite community.

This beautiful cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s a short stroll to the beach on a nice quiet road. The host was so welcoming and friendly and it felt like we were visiting family.
