Rustic Mountain Cabin on River with Fireplace

I didn't not have heat in the room I slept in. I called and texted host several times that evening and again several times since with no response and I never got an answer. It was 37 degrees outside when I woke up. I I now have a cold from sleeeping in a non heated cold room. I have tried to reach the host and Booking .com several times. No one has responded I want 1/2 of my money back. It is also a misleading description on cabin and beds in each room. Very disappointment from Booking.com also.

Spa, fire place, location.

Needed some minor cosmetic improvement.

No breakfast

Everything was clean but extremely worn. Towels and bed linens in particular. The furniture was very worn as well.

Location was in close proximity to Blowing Rock and surrounding area however with it being directly off the busy highway 321 the noise was terrible when we were there.

Musty smell, needed work. It also was not the property I had clicked on to rent originally. I could tell in the beginning that there was a whole cluster of cabins in this area so I figured it would work out but between the noise and the age and condition of the place it did matter after all. This place needs some work.

What an absolutely lovely place! From the moment we arrived we felt completely relaxed and at home. The instructions on how to reach and access the property were perfect and our hosts were really helpful when we had a few questions ahead of our visit. The cabin itself was terrific, lovely and clean with super comfy beds. We loved sitting out on the porch of an evening - or relaxing in the hot tub - watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. We even saw a deer in the creek one afternoon. It was a totally relaxed and chill place to be, but within easy access of the Blue Ridge Parkway and other attractions. If we're ever out this way again, we will definitely stay here.

Nothing, we loved it!

Great spot, convenient to town. The cabin was clean and bed was comfy. The hot tub was great. Location was easy to get to and near town.

The light fixtures and lamps need some lightbulbs, and not the harsh light bulbs. Need a warm color. Wouldn't mind some kind of curtain or something by the hot tub for privacy and warmth. I was confused about where to get my check in instructions. Thought it would be in email.

It was peaceful and cozy.

Too close to the main road, but it still has a good level of privacy
