The breakfast was absolutely delicious and hearty! They provide you a menu for all the various items that you would like to have as well as attention to detail about any food allergies or aversions you may have. The breakfast was a perfect way to start the day to explore the surrounding area. Lastly, we really appreciated how communicative Nathalie was in preparation for our stay. Igor's dinner meals are fantastic!!

Stella di Monte is an absolute gem & the most beautiful place to stay. Spectacular views, peaceful & very relaxing. Nathalie & Igor have restored the building exquisitely & to a very high standard, stunning both inside and out. Igor prepared an outstanding 3 course meal using fantastic local ingredients. Highly recommend visiting Stella di Monte - a truly exceptional place to stay, our next visit is already booked.

This is one of the most spectacular hotels we have ever stayed in. Nathalie and Igor put their heart and soul into every detail of this magnificent property. The view is priceless, the grounds impeccable, the rooms are clean, charming and crisp. We had such a fantastic time here and look forward to returning when we are back in Tuscany. The view is absolutely breathtaking! Montepulciano was like an apparition floating on the near horizon. Mesmerizing and continuously changing. We were concerned about the steepness of the walk into the town, but it was a very quiet 10 minute walk along the paved country road and then through the arch and behold two elevators to take you to the park at the top and a casual walk to the city gate and the up meandering main street. IDEAL location .

Nothing could have been better except to stay longer. Nathalie and Igor are the owners and the initiators of this vision. They live on site and work hard to continue to provide for guests, improve and expand. They started with a ruin and a dream five years ago and with an amazing vision and hard work have transformed the rubble into a very comfortable legacy for so many to enjoy. I had many good talks with Igor about the many details of this transformation and learned alot about building in Italy. They have utilized ancient materials and yet transformed the ruin into a bright and contemporary rooms full of texture and delight!

This place was so charming and magical !! Definitely the highlight of our trip. Perfectly located with gorgeous views overlooking the town of Montepulciano. The grounds are so beautiful, and the main building has such a unique Tuscan charm. Nathalie and Igor were so welcoming and made sure every little detail was perfect. The food prepared by Igor was simply spectacular !! And our private dinner in the wine cellar was so romantic and memorable. We wish we could have stayed longer. We didn't want to leave ! Communication before arriving was amazing and very helpful. This stay will be engraved in our memories forever!! A true Tuscan gem !
