Cyan Loft Corfu

The location is excellent. the quality of the apartment is excellent. for 2 people the furnishings, all the appliances are all excellent. The internet works well. (everytime... this is my 3rd stay). Its really nice relaxing on the balcony with the view. The online and in person assistance has been really great too. The bed is very comfortable. (A rarity in Corfu). (Tip for workers, I found this a more convenient location for the main post office, and there are some nearby places that offer photocopies etc when you walk towards the main San Rocco Square). (Tip for users that do not rent a car but might like to visit a beach. First of all, its very easy to walk from the airport to Cyan Loft. Second, the main square, San Rocco Square... is another easy walk and many of the buses start from there. You can take the #7 bus to Ipsos Beach which has lots of services, restaurants, cafes etc (and a beach, with rentable lounges, umbrellas etc, or you can bring your own in some spots; outdoor showers in a few spots) and return with the #7. The bus starts , ends at these places so you will usually get a seat. You can also take buses towards other beaches too. And if you do rent a car or small moped, I find there is usually some sort of parking within a block of the loft. (unlike places that would be in or nearer to the old town which is almost exclusively pedestrianized.). (For swimming in Garitsa bay, a lot of locals use some stairs to enter and exit. nearbye at the Windmill there is a not so good municipal beach, and if its within season there is a better maintained paid beach with some conveniences like chaise lounges, umbrellas, etc).

This is just constructive criticism, as in general they can not be faulted. but... if I had a wishlist, the kitchen needs a good chopping+pairing knife set. I cook a lot though. others might not care. I used the steak knife but would have liked a good kitchen knife for chopping and dicing stuff. Also... there is a metal spatula, I wish there was an alternate because the no stick frying pans need a softer style. My final wish list, I wish that the rate could be slightly better for longer stays, but compared to many of the hotels, apartments, and airbnb nearby, this is a really excellent choice (I have stayed in many of them!).

The apartment was just lovely! It was very clean, comfortable and had the most amazing view on Corfu town! The location is just perfect - very close to the city and to the bay. The hostess Maria was the kindest person - we’ve not only been able to come earlier, but also she bought some food for us! This place is so lovely that you will not like to leave it! Just perfect, definitely recommend it!
